Last night I managed to photograph things that I thought were never possible. Aurora activities went up to levels I have never ever seen and reached overhead levels in the Netherlands. KP9 and a G5 storm, something that happens maybe once in 20 years. Finally I managed to capture classic windmills with a super strong aurora. The Enchanted Rhododendron ForestCan you believe these are made with a drone? I have been coming to this place for many years, but this year I decided to try something different. Because these plants grow so tall, I had the idea of going up just a little higher with my drone to find new perspectives. Flying super close to the flowers was quite tricky, but after some practice I managed to get the compositions I wanted. All the wide angle shots in this series are made with the drone, some even with focus stacking. After all these years I can still find new compositions and angles in this place so close to home. by @albertdrosphotography

Yes these are tulips . Endless of Wild Tulips on the plains of Muş. I visited earlier this month to capture their bloom. I was there only for a few days but had so many different conditions and light. Sony just announced the new A7r VI . I already have it for a couple of weeks and this is one of the sessions I did with it: landscapes, but also super close ups with precapture and 30 fps. The Tulip Swirl - another interesting field from this year. Yes, entirely real. When the land is curved and the grower starts planting bulbs next to the curved part, it looks like this on one edge of the field. by @albertdrosphotography

The Tulip Church - a location of this year's tulip season where this tulip field was right in front of a church in a town called De Weere. I figured it would be interesting to photograph it in blue hour, as the church was lit and the magenta blue sky would match the purple tulips. And the result matched that vision indeed.I also went back there on a late afternoon where the clouds were just great, and I had some angry birds around as well.Good times during the Dutch Tulip Season #tulipseason #sonyalphaeu #nederlandismooi by @albertdrosphotography

The Tulip season is now right after its peak. I took this photo last week. His guy stood out from all the red. Conditions were great before sunrise with a thin layer of fog and lots of atmosphere. Photos were focus stacked for maximum depth of field. #tulipseason #sonyalpha #sonynederland #madewithluminar by @albertdrosphotography
