Stop telling him "I love you."

I know how that sounds. Hear me out.

When you say "I love you" ten times a day, it loses its power. He doesn't treasure it. After a while it just becomes background noise.

More phrases that speak his language: "I feel so protected by you." "I love what you did for me." "Remember when you did this for me?"

Say "I love you" less, and watch it mean more. Always leave the last step to him.
