I still have one more track left on Immaterial to share but before I do that I figured I’d post half of the video for my song Infinity from my new album, EchoLalia:.:.ConstellationsAid.:.:. It’s a collection of songs I wrote in mid-2024 when I first started making music on voice memos - now I’ve upgraded to having no technical knowledge whatsoever on GarageBand and using Reverb for Days. I organized a playlist album of original songs I made between October of last year and February of this year. It’s called MICHAEL which is also my last name. Coincidence? This video features the title track, Fallacy, and also my cover of Chop Suey (the most initial file I ever made as Listening Palace October 13 of last year) which is on The Titanic Soundtrack- my SoundCloud playlist that features all of the covers I’ve made. $Electric bicycles are now prohibited on all Dearborn Heights city-owned property following unanimous approval by the City Council on Tuesday. The new rule bans the operation of e-bikes in city parks, walking paths, playgrounds, splash pads, athletic fields, recreation centers, libraries, municipal parking lots, and on City Hall grounds. The decision follows a traffic safety study released by Dearborn Heights Police Chief Michael Guzowski, which found that parks and recreational spaces are not designed to safely accommodate motor-assisted bicycles traveling at speeds of up to 28 mph. According to the study, the significant speed difference between e-bikes and pedestrians increases the risk of serious crashes, particularly involving children, seniors, people with disabilities, and families using strollers. Officials also cited national data showing a steady rise in injuries involving e-bikes and other micromobility devices in recent years. “Our parks and recreation spaces are designed for people to walk, gather, and enjoy time with their families,” said Mayor Mo Baydoun. “This resolution puts public safety first and helps ensure residents can enjoy city property safely.” The ban applies to all Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 e-bikes. Exceptions include on-duty law enforcement officers, city employees conducting authorized business, and individuals granted accommodations under disability laws. Parking an e-bike at a designated bicycle rack remains allowed. The city plans to install signage at affected locations, while the Dearborn Heights Police Department will enforce the ordinance. Violators may face civil infraction penalties.$
