The “Natasha doll,” a squishy silicone stress toy shaped like a stylised Black baby, has triggered international backlash after videos showed users in China squeezing, stretching, stomping on, and otherwise abusing the figurines on platforms like Douyin and Xiaohongshu. The toy, sold in different skin tones including Black, brown, and white, is marketed as a novelty item meant for stress relief. It first went viral in late May through short videos showing extreme use, including tearing it apart, pouring boiling water on it, and running it over, often framed online as harmless fun or emotional release. While all variants exist in the market, most of the viral clips focus on the darker-skinned versions. That has fuelled accusations of racism and dehumanisation. The debate intensified after a widely shared online explanation suggested the Black version was targeted because it looks less “human,” making it easier for users to mistreat without guilt, while lighter versions were described as too human-like. The trend has since spread to Western platforms, where it has drawn heavy criticism and renewed discussion about racial bias. Some point to broader concerns about discrimination faced by African students and migrants in China, though such cases vary and are not officially endorsed by authorities. Chinese regulators have not publicly commented on the viral content, which continues to circulate. The dolls are sold for both domestic and export markets through online platforms. While some defend the trend as cultural misunderstanding or exaggeration, others say it crosses a line, especially where children are seen taking part.

🚨Two sisters are facing felony charges after prosecutors say a wrong food order turned into a violent attack at a chicken restaurant on East Warren near Cadieux in Detroit. Court records show Kierianna Long, 26, and Brianna Long, 29, were arraigned Monday in 36th District Court. Both are charged with assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, and felonious assault. According to allegations presented in court, the incident happened on May 30 after a 23-year-old restaurant employee allegedly gave the sisters the wrong order. Prosecutors said the sisters went inside the restaurant, went behind the counter and attacked the employee. Prosecutors alleged the sisters threw items at the employee, chased her through the restaurant, hit her with pots and pans, threatened to k*ll her and tried to throw hot grease on her head. The employee was then stabbed in the stomach and had to be taken to the hospital for surgery, according to prosecutors. They also said the employee ran out of the restaurant and hid inside a stranger’s vehicle while calling for help. Prosecutors said Kierianna Long is accused of stabbing the employee, while Brianna Long is accused of taking part in the assault and helping drive away from the scene afterward. Defense attorneys disputed the allegations in court, claiming the employee threw items first and included knives during the confrontation. Brianna Long’s attorney also said she was pregnant. Bond was set at $100,000 cash or surety for Kierianna Long and $25,000 cash or surety for Brianna Long. Both women pleaded not guilty.

Let it simmer on medium heat until thickened. Let it cool down and use like jam, you can keep it in the fridge up to 10 days. - VEGANE KAYA-BUTTER 🧈

-200g Kokoscreme
-150g Zucker
In einem Topf erhitzen, bis sich der Zucker aufgelöst hat. -175g Seidentofu
-1 TL Stärke
-eine Prise Salz
Alles glatt pürieren und mit in den Topf geben. Bei mittlerer Hitze köcheln lassen, bis die Masse eindickt. Abkühlen lassen und wie Marmelade verwenden. Im Kühlschrank hält sie sich bis zu 10 Tage.

The same whale that was seen on May 23rd in Inverness has been spotted in Kruiningen – Zeedijk on June 5th. ⚠️ The whale has some skin condition that could be either a severe sunburn, some sort of abrasion from an injury, or a severe sea‑lice infestation. 🆘 This whale might be in trouble – everyone needs to keep an eye on him/her !!! Juni in Kruiningen – Zeedijk gesichtet. ⚠️ Der Wal hat eine Hautveränderung, die entweder ein schwerer Sonnenbrand, eine Art Abschürfung nach einer Verletzung oder ein starker Seelausbefall sein könnte. 🆘 Dieser Wal könnte in Schwierigkeiten sein – alle sollten ihn/sie im Auge behalten !!! Dezelfde walvis die op 23 mei in Inverness werd gezien, is op 5 juni gespot in Kruiningen – Zeedijk. ⚠️ De walvis heeft een huidafwijking die kan wijzen op een ernstige zonnebrand, een soort schaafwond door een verwonding, of een ernstige zeeluizenplaag. 🆘 Deze walvis kan in problemen verkeren – iedereen moet hem/haar in de gaten houden !!! Want als hij/zij strandt, krijgen we een herhaling van Buckli/Hope/Timmy. 🇳🇱 Nederland heeft geen geweldige staat van dienst als het gaat om het redden van grote walvissen (bijvoorbeeld het trieste verhaal van Johanna), maar jaren geleden slaagden ze wel in enkele geweldige reddingen van potvissen. 🐋 Deel dit alsjeblieft en blijf alert !!!
