On my 19th birthday, I gave the first ever detransitioner testimony to Congress. 3 years later, the @gophelp invited me back for a hearing on one of the most pressing issues of our time: the experimental mutilation of gender-confused children. It is criminal that it has gone on for this long. The medical profession will have to answer for the harm they have wreaked upon children, and the stories of those who have been harmed will continue to be a beacon of truth and healing.

A man in Los Angeles wakes up one morning and decides, with absolute confidence, that driving is a scam invented by “Big Parking.” So he simply starts walking east toward Florida, powered by determination, three granola bars, and the questionable advice of a motivational poster that said “Just go.” He walks through neighborhoods, deserts, arguments, and at least one Home Depot that tried to hire him mid-stride. Amazingly, he never stops—not for sleep, not for weather, not even for a confused tumbleweed that asked him to reconsider.

After what feels like the spiritual equivalent of several Marvel trilogies, he finally arrives in Florida, drenched in triumph and mild confusion. He raises his arms to the ocean and declares victory… only for a lifeguard to gently inform him he’s still standing in a very ambitious part of a dream and also “Florida is, like, a whole other shape on a map, buddy.” He pauses, squints at the horizon, and admits he has no idea where Florida actually is, but insists he “definitely walked there emotionally.”
