Peak Week Files 💚
The last 16 weeks have been some of the most challenging, rewarding, humbling, and beautiful weeks of my life.

This prep taught me that discipline isn’t just showing up to the gym every day. It’s saying no when you want to say yes. It’s choosing the goal on the days you don’t feel motivated. It’s learning how to keep going when you’re tired, sore, emotional, and questioning yourself.

There were days I had to disappear. Days when my social battery was empty, when answering texts felt impossible, and when all my energy had to go toward the work in front of me. To my friends and family who understood, supported me, checked in on me, and loved me through it all, to my amazing coaches who pushed me and made me better-thank you. I will never be able to fully express how much that meant to me.

I’m so blessed that I got to experience this journey alongside my dad. Sharing these early mornings, cardio sessions, workouts, struggles, victories, and memories together is something I’ll carry with me forever. We carried each other through this process and I couldn’t have done with without him to lean on. This prep strengthened far more than just our bodies—it strengthened our bond, and that alone is more of a win than a trophy can give me.

Most of all, I’m thankful to God for giving me the health, strength, and opportunity to chase something that once felt impossible. Every challenge came with a lesson, and every sacrifice came with a purpose.
My heart is so full. I feel incredibly blessed, incredibly loved, and incredibly proud of how far we’ve come.

My heart is a little extra full today. ❤️
Since Sunday, we’ve been waiting for an email and quietly hoping for good news. Neža was trying to be patient, but she was nervous. Truthfully, so were Anže and I.
Today we found out that she’s qualified for Excel Nationals in Boston! ⛸️✨
What makes it even sweeter is that just a few weeks ago she qualified for National Showcase in Denver for the second year in a row. Two national competitions in one season — what an incredible accomplishment.
She qualified 8th in the Pacific Division and 15th in the U.S. for this technical competition, but if you know me, you know that’s not what makes me the proudest.
I’m proud of the little girl who gets up early, works hard, keeps going when things don’t come easy, and never stops believing in herself. I’m proud of her determination, her resilience, and the joy she feels every time she steps onto the ice.
But most of all, I’m proud of her heart. ❤️ The way she treats the people around her, the kindness she shows, the way she cheers for her teammates and friends, and the way she genuinely cares about others. Those are the things that matter most to me and the things I hope she never loses.
Watching her grow through this sport has been such a gift. The medals, rankings, and qualifications are exciting, but getting to watch her become such a kind, thoughtful, and hardworking young person is my favorite part of all.
Neži,I hope you always believe in yourself the way we believe in you. Keep dreaming big, sweet girl. We will always be your biggest fans. ❤️✨
Denver and Boston, here she comes

A weekend to forget. But home is home, and the support I get every year here in Monaco is very very special and means a lot to me. Thank you so much
