I’ve been using a cookie cutter to make mini cakes for parties for years, but sure, let’s put it in a disposable cup and call it something new👀
1. My version of dot cake is actually a Depression-era cake called ~Wacky Cake! It’s made without eggs, butter or milk. This makes the MOISTEST cake (better for cutting into shapes). Ergo, the cake is entirely vegan! The frosting is not, but you can easily make it so!
2. My recipe makes enough frosting to make CAKE POPS from the cake scraps. No food waste here!
3. Those sprinkles are gross and you know it. I’d rather have strawberry seeds in my teeth than those little crunchies. UNLESS we’re talking about cortadillo with bright pink frosting from the tiendita down the street from me, I’m choosing fruit > sprinkles. You do you, though💗
