Damn. This was so hard. The legendary Tootsie spent her last day on Earth yesterday. She was 18.5 years old. She was my mom’s dog who we lost 10 years ago now. Then she lived with my mom’s roommate Grace, until she passed, then she moved in with us around 5 years ago. She was old then and against all odds she kept on trucking and giving Julie and Myself love way longer than most dogs get to.
Tootsie thought me the value in adopting older dogs and giving them a good home to spend the rest of their days. She was one of the funniest dogs I ever met. I can’t even describe how hard we miss her already.
