at 22 i felt stuck, lost in life and completely alone. i couldn’t see a way out. there was no role model to look up to, no one who came from a similar background, had done it first and had the roadmap.

i realised that if i wanted to change my life, I was going to have to be the first one to do it. and that was terrifying. but not as terrifying as living a life that didn’t feel right to me.

so despite what my peers said, I gave up the safe choice of pursuing law and chose myself instead.

that was ten years ago and now i have my own business, career, home, support network but more importantly i’ve built a life that feels right to me.

i became the role model i needed growing up. so the lesson is, take a chance on yourself, it might be the best thing you ever do. 🤍 🌟
