At a perfectly normal beach volleyball game—normal except for the sand inexplicably judging everyone’s footwork—the volleyball suddenly developed a personality. Not just bouncing… *thinking*. It began dodging serves with suspicious intelligence, tapping itself over the net like it had attended elite sports college, and generally behaving like it had read the rulebook and decided it could do better.

Things escalated when the volleyball announced, in dramatic bounce-language only it understood, that each rally would now take exactly “10 minutes, 10 minutes.” Nobody knew what that meant, but every attempt to score turned into a perfectly timed, slow-motion chaos loop where the ball refused to end the point until its internal clock approved. By the end of the match, the players weren’t even tired—they were just emotionally negotiating with a volleyball that had clearly become the league commissioner without asking permission.
