Instagram versus reality over Christmas.Clothing has been mainly PJ'S I've had Christmas at home as it is the only time of year I spend in my own bed for more than 7 nights consecutively during the year, and I really look forward to it. I was so excited this year after the turbulent 2023Sadly, this year has been spent either in bed or on the settee. I've coped with the main days of Christmas as it was the start of what the doctor is now saying is flu. I put a dress on, popped on makeup, and took painkillers. Those who know me will know that I only take medication when I really have to, even paracetamol.Christmas Day was difficult, and Boxing Day, I wanted to cry, then since then I can not get out of bed or off the settee. The aching EVERYWHERE, but especially, arms, neck and legs, burning sensation in my chest, film of sweat, hacking cough, and generally feeling like absolute poop I've had enough of. A full course of Amoxocilin and prendisolone I've taken, and I still can't move, my arms and neck are the worst. I called 111 yesterday, and they called an ambulance to me as they said my symtpons were heart related. I cancelled the ambulance as I knew they weren't. I was just as rough as a bears bum. Back today at the Doctors, and I'm now on doxycycline.Gee whizz, this is a nasty sun of a nut cracker. Merry Christmas and a happy new year.PS I sound like Barry White. 👍 #feelingcrap #flu #bugs #illatchristmas
