It was on June 9 2017, nine years ago today, that Nish and I were commissioned to write this song in the Taskmaster house. Since then it has eclipsed all my other attempts to make an impact upon the universe.

Euro trip part 1

Some days aren't about chasing perfection.

They're about showing up exactly as you are.

Today, under the Miami Beach sun, with the sound of the waves in the background and the warm sand beneath my feet, I was reminded that life feels different when you stop fighting yourself and start appreciating the journey you've been through.

Every scar, every stretch mark, every challenge, every lesson, every moment of growth has helped shape the person I am today. For so long, I thought confidence came from looking a certain way. But real confidence comes from learning to be kind to yourself, even on the days when nobody else sees your struggles.

The ocean doesn't apologize for its waves. The sky doesn't apologize for its clouds. And we shouldn't apologize for being human.

Today was a reminder to move my body because I love it, not because I want to punish it. To breathe deeply. To stretch. To smile. To be present. To appreciate how far I've come instead of constantly focusing on how far I have left to go.

If you're reading this, I hope you give yourself a little more grace today. Celebrate the small victories. Be proud of your progress. And remember that your worth has never been determined by a number, a mirror, or someone else's opinion.
