At its heart, Jasleen Royal’s (@jasleenroyal) space was imagined around one simple intention: bringing people together. Seating appears everywhere, though never rigidly arranged—curved sofas gathered beneath archways, cushioned window ledges facing the sea, chairs pulled casually toward pianos and plush fauteuils that seem perpetually prepared for long conversations.The home moves with an easy informality, allowing guests to drift naturally between rooms. “I love hosting, so there are plenty of comfortable gathering spaces thoughtfully spread across the house, making it perfect for thoughtful conversations or simply unwinding,” says Royal.The moodboard emerged from emotional memory as much as aesthetics. “It’s a mix of cosy textures, earthy tones, vintage touches, soft lighting, little pops of colour, music, books, conversations…basically controlled chaos with warmth at the centre of it,” she adds.Explore the home at the link in bioInterior designer: @janhavi_snghPhotography: Prerna Singh (@visualaffairs_va) Words: @adarshhsoni by @jasleenroyal

By early evening, when the light over the Arabian Sea begins to soften into a hazy wash of gold, Jasleen Royal’s (@jasleenroyal) Juhu apartment settles into its most natural rhythm: darling little dogs wandering across sun-warmed floors, music drifting from one corner to another and conversations unfolding slowly beneath the hum of ceiling fans paired with the distant sound of ocean waves.
