The process of hardening off your plants….which just means gradually getting them used to the sun, wind, and temperature fluctuation… is so important if you want healthy plants that will have an easy time transitioning from pots inside to in-ground plants outside. Start this process once the daytime temps are 55-60 degrees F and 1-2 weeks before planting them in your garden. This obviously goes for our hot weather plants we start indoors like peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, cantaloupe, okra etc. Happy planting! by @martinamcbride
