REINTRODUCING: Oceanic Global 🌊🌎✨ Oceanic means “of, living in, or produced by the ocean.” With the Ocean covering 70% of the planet, making up 95% of the biosphere, and producing over 50% of the oxygen we breathe, all life on Earth is inherently oceanic.Yet, modern life has caused humanity to forget that we are part of nature, growing more disconnected from the Ocean — the beating heart of our Blue Planet. Despite our deep reliance on the ocean, human activity is pushing it toward a critical state. Rising temperatures, depleted fish stocks, and declining carbon sinks all point to the urgent need for action 💧 At Oceanic Global, we believe that protecting the Ocean is essential not only to the Earth’s health but also to humanity’s survival and well-being. Our mission is to reconnect people with the ocean as the lifeblood of the Earth and offer tangible solutions for coexisting in harmony with nature 🌀 Swipe to learn more about how our core program areas bring this mission to life ➡️Our initiatives are not just about addressing immediate needs but reshaping systems and restoring balance for the future ⚡️Because no matter who we are or where we’re from, we are all oceanic 💙Visit oceanic.global to learn more 🐋 by @oceanic.global

On Monday’s UN World Oceans Day, we mark a new chapter — and a new call to action to #SaveOurOcean. For too long, we’ve treated the ocean as something distant and separate from us. Yet it shapes the air we breathe, the food we eat and the climate we depend on.Now is the time to rethink our relationship with the ocean and recognize how deeply connected we truly are.The entry into force of the global agreement to conserve and sustainably use marine biodiversity of areas beyond national jurisdiction is a major step toward caring for our shared ocean together. But no agreement alone can transform how we care for the ocean. That change depends on all of us. Beyond the world we know, a more just and sustainable future for our ocean is within reach. by @oceanic.global
