5 things I believe we should do more often: 1️⃣ BE A BEGINNER AGAIN! Try a dance class. Learn a language. Pick up something you’re terrible at! You don’t have to be good at everything to enjoy it. Give yourself permission to learn. 2️⃣ PUT YOURSELF IN YOUR CALENDAR! We make time for appointments, work and everyone else’s needs. Schedule something just for YOU this week. A walk, a quiet breakfast, an afternoon with no obligations. Your time matters too. 3️⃣ STOP SAVING THINGS FOR “ONE DAY”! Wear the beautiful outfit. Use the special perfume. Book dinner with your friends. An ordinary Tuesday is a perfectly good occasion. 4️⃣ NOTICE WHO MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOURSELF! Who can you laugh with? Who listens? Who gets excited about your ideas? Make more time for those people — and be that person for them, too. 5️⃣ CHANGE ONE “I CAN’T” INTO “I’LL TRY”! “I can’t wear that.” “I’m too old to start.” Sometimes we’ve repeated a rule for so long that we forget to question it. Start with one small thing you’ve been talking yourself out of. I don’t know exactly what my next chapter will look like.
