Glenwood Hoskin Jr., a 60-year-old retired tax officer from Pennsylvania, broke a Guinness World Record by watching 1,207 movies in cinemas over the course of one year, averaging 3.3 films per day at his local Regal Cinema in York Haven between April 2024 and April 2025. He smashed the previous record of 777 films by 430 screenings.

He also holds a second Guinness title for watching the same film 292 times in cinemas.
