Introducing NAVA.

NAVA is an AI-generated singer created by London-based artist Farbod Mehr.

Her face is a collective portrait, built from archival Iranian portraiture, centuries of Persian art and the faces of her own community. Her voice carries a century of Persian song: forgotten classics, folk melodies and the verses of Iran’s great poets, brought back to a new generation and placed alongside electronic music on the world’s biggest stages.

Farbod Mehr is a London-based artist and creative technologist whose practice blends sacred geometry, Persian mysticism and artificial intelligence. With NAVA, he turns the newest technology into a vessel for one of the oldest cultures in the world, so its songs, poetry and faces are carried forward rather than forgotten.

For generations, Persian poets wrote about the nightingale that sings even inside the cage. NAVA is that song, rewritten for our time: a voice that belongs to no one and to everyone, that no border can stop and no silence can hold.
She exists to make sure the songs of a culture keep travelling, and that the voices who were meant to sing them are still heard.

Proceeds of ‘Azadi EP’ will be donated to Femena, supporting women’s rights and gender equality in Iran and across the SWANA region.

IT’S A BOY!!! 🩵😭

My sweet miracle boy… you are everything we prayed for and more. The most beautiful reminder that God’s plans are always greater than our own.

The past few days have reminded me just how cruel this world can be. But no amount of hate could ever overshadow the joy of loving you. You are a MIRACLE.

My precious baby boy, your daddy and I will spend the rest of our lives protecting you, praying over you, and loving you beyond measure. We may not be able to shield you from every bit of darkness in this world, but we promise to raise you to be a LIGHT in it.
You are already our greatest blessing, our answered prayer, and the sweetest chapter of our lives.

God knew exactly what He was doing when He gave us YOU.

WE GET TO BE YOUR MOMMY AND DADDY!!! 🥹🩵
