Hugh Jackman could reportedly be replaced as Wolverine as Marvel Studios prepares for its next generation of X-Men.

According to Cartier Films, Marvel is considering another actor to take over the role, potentially making his debut in the upcoming X-Men movie.

Jackman has played Wolverine since 2000, becoming one of the longest-running actors to portray a Marvel superhero.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Allen White, best known for starring in The Bear, has emerged as a rumored candidate for the role, with recent reports suggesting Marvel may be in talks with him.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige previously confirmed plans to recast several X-Men characters following Avengers: Secret Wars.
