🫡🙏🏾 🙌🏾 Big Salute n Thanks always @davidlrdg @reggielanez @respectdagrind @itemusicgroup @powerisindustry for the stages and love 🔥 🙏🏾 Humble but BIG Thank you @davidlrdg for the warm intro and for shouting out my roots and where My Story began 🙏🏾🇿🇼🤍 Sooo.. Sometimes, People clown me.. Just for being a female rapper/artist from Zimbabwe and for Stiiiill rapping stiiiiill loving making music ❤️‍🔥 even Soo long after supposedly “not making it Big” etc 😅 Other times they love me for those very same reasons.. Some Instantaneously hate me before they even know me or I utter one word, Others automatically Love me.. Some will hear or see my ideas and run to copy and paste them as if the ideas are their own, Others will recognize the value, the hard work, and encourage, uplift and motivate me … Some saw a punching bag, a doormat, a nobody deserving of hurting, defiling, and dishonoring, even as a child. Others Saw and See A Queen, a genuine soul worthy of respect, love and honor… Some will smile in my face while despising and backstabbing me. Others will frown in my face while loving me.. Some are in secret competition and are still secretly terribly losing. Others see my value and are sincere and genuine with their support and love 🙏🏾❣️ However it goes, The Show Goes On n’ On n’ On 🎶🎙️💃🏽❣️ Joi Rocks Gems 💎: 🫵🏽 You are not defined by who “they” say you are. In this episode of Style DNA I go on a style journey with the award-winning journalist, broadcaster, beauty expert and co-founder of the incredible charity Beauty Banks … Sali Hughes (newly appointed) MBE… Although best known for her encyclopaedic knowledge of beauty, Sali reveals that fashion and film have always been her greatest passions. We talk about her love of sharp tailoring, her extraordinary talent for finding pre-loved treasures, choosing her outfit to receive her MBE at Windsor Castle and the inspiring story behind Beauty Banks as well as some rather fabulous encounters along the way… including one with Dame Joan Collins. Her Style DNA? Neat, Timeless and Distinctive. Thank you @salihughes for such a wonderful conversation ❤️ A huge thank you to @silkn.eu for supporting this season of Style DNA, and for being part of my own skin journey too. #salihughes #styleDNA #fashionpodcast #silknpartner
