After 12 years, 5 kids, 3 businesses, and everything life has thrown at us along the way… we finally did it. 🥹🏡

We bought a house!

It’s been a long journey getting here, but we finally have a place that’s ours and that our family can call home. A place for our kids to grow up, make memories, celebrate holidays and birthdays, and just be together.

We’re so thankful for our family and everyone who has helped us along the way. We truly couldn’t have done this without the love and support we’ve had throughout the years.

We’re excited for this new chapter and everything that comes with making this place our home. 🤎

Here’s to many more years of growing, learning, struggling, laughing, and Nguyening together. 🥹🔑

When you hear another kid tell your kid “you can’t play with us,” it can hit you right in the chest. Of course you want to march over and fix it.

Here’s what I want you to do instead:

1️⃣ Remember this is not an emergency. It’s painful, but only emergencies need urgent action.
2️⃣ Just watch. Say nothing for 10, 20, 30 seconds. Your kid might handle it before you ever have to step in.
3️⃣ Think about the future. Your kid is learning patterns now that will play out when they’re 18, 25. You want them to know they have coping skills, not that someone will always swoop in to solve it.
4️⃣ Hold back on “You have to let my kid play.” When we do that, we’re teaching our kid they should want to be accepted by people who aren’t being kind to them.

If it still stings later, for them or for you, that’s okay too. You can say something like: “That was a hard moment at the park. I’m here if you want to talk about it.” Then let them lead.
