Kobe, you were not taken too soon. As I look at these 2 pictures (swipe) on the day of your memorial, I see the work of a job well done. I must admit, I wish we had you longer, as most of us do. Nevertheless, from the young, tenacious, confident smirk... to that full, proud, joyful smile.... you lived YOUR full life. You did what God created you to do in the most magnificent way. You inspired, you overcame, you bettered yourself everyday, and you loved your wife and babies. You took your eyes off of yourself and used all the success that you rightfully earned as a platform to help others. When I heard you speak of God, it wasn’t overly religious or deeply spiritual. It was personal. I heard your love for Him and what He’s done for you. That’s all He wants. For us to have our own relationship with Him and use the blessings He gives us to turn around and give Him the glory for it. I believe that’s why you were so blessed Kobe. That’s why I believe you lived a full life. You took what God gave you, in the time He gave you, and you maxed it out until the very end. For the love we have for your family & loved ones, and some of our own personal reasons as well, we wanted you to stay. But you completed your work here on earth and I believe that God is proud of the man He created you to be. So I thank you Kobe. Thank you for being an example. Thank you for creating a legacy and impact that will outlive your life here on earth. Thank you for giving us the motivation and visual representation on what we can do in our own lives if we follow God and give it our all, day in and day out. Rest peacefully King. Rest peacefully baby girl Gigi. Rest peacefully to all those lost in this tragedy. Your lives will be remembered forever. ♥️
