China’s years-long splurge on bridges, tunnels, expressways, high-speed rail and airports is beginning to tail off. Questions are likely to grow about whether it was all worthwhile. The humanitarian cost has been enormous: millions have been turfed off their land to make way for roads, railways, airports and other such projects—often without their consent and sometimes with little compensation. The country has grown far richer, and praise for the transport network, at home and abroad, is often effusive. But weighing up the benefits of transport infrastructure is difficult anywhere. Tap the link in our bio to read why some experts argue that China has invested far more than necessary. Photo: Getty Images
Fairuz (born Nouhad Wadie Haddad) is an iconic Lebanese singer, widely regarded as one of the greatest vocalists in the Arab world. Born in Beirut in November 20 1934, she rose from a modest radio chorus singer in the 1940s to an international superstar, bridging Eastern and Western musical traditions. Throughout the Lebanese Civil War (1975–1990), Fairuz continued to tour globally but notably refused to perform within Lebanon to avoid appearing biased. Her unifying voice transcended sectarian lines, and her songs of peace and love became an anchor for the Lebanese people. She has recorded nearly 1,500 songs, performed in 20 musicals, and starred in major musical films (like Safar Barlik). She has performed at iconic international venues, including the Royal Albert Hall in London and Carnegie Hall in New York. She is celebrated not just as an entertainer, but as a living symbol of Arab heritage and unity.#_فيروز #اكسبلورط#يامرسال_المراسيل #فيروزيات_الصباح❤

$0.29 TO UNLOCK YOUR NEXT CREATIVE MOVE?! 🔥 Powered by @dreamina_ai Made the clothes. Paid for the stock. And now the promo shoot wants another paycheck? Nah, we're not doing all that. 💀  We shot our model's movements on a phone, brought them into Dreamina Canvas with Motion Capture, added our apparel and location references, and turned that simple footage into a cinematic promo video. 💀 Here's where it gets crazy. Dreamina's first month is just $0.29 for new users, with 1,575 credits to get things moving to access full capability seedance models. And the math? At the stated settings, those credits can cover roughly ten 10-second Seedance 2.0 clips. That's under three cents per clip in first-month membership cost. And yeah, Dreamina and Seedance are both from ByteDance, the company behind TikTok and CapCut. 👀 We're official Dreamina partners, so make sure you're using our official link to grab the offer. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: We recommend using a desktop/PC browser to access the link and claim your offer, as mobile devices may currently experience bugs. 💬 Comment “DREAMINA” and I'll DM you the official link and the prompt we used. You can also find the link in my bio. We showed you our style. Now go outdo it. 😎🔥 #DreaminaOnly29Cents #Dreamina #DreaminaPartner #DreaminaCanvas #Seedance2
