A video of All India Students’ Association (AISA) president Neha Bora alleging that priests commit rape inside temples has triggered a political controversy, with the BJP accusing her of insulting Hindu religious institutions and questioning Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s support for her. The undated clip circulated on November 3. In the video, Bora argues that women need protection from what she describes as the “Brahmanical system”. She alleges that the social order enables the oppression of vulnerable groups and leaves even Brahmin women unsafe. “Priests commit rapes inside temples,” she says, referring to sexual violence cases in Unnao and Kathua while making her argument. Sharing the footage, BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari described Bora as Rahul Gandhi’s “poster girl” and accused her of displaying “Hindu hate”. He sought to connect her remarks with Congress’s ideology, alleging that the party was targeting Hindu faith for electoral interests. BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia also condemned the comments as insulting to Hindu priests. These were the BJP leaders’ allegations. Bora’s reference to Kathua concerns the 2018 rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl who was held captive inside a village temple. In June 2019, a court convicted six men, with temple caretaker Sanji Ram among three sentenced to life imprisonment. The criticism centres on Bora’s sweeping language about priests and religious institutions. Responding to the controversy, BJP leader Nalin Kohli said rape was a heinous crime that should not be communalised, and demanded an apology and clarification over her remarks.

Your nervous system doesn’t need a full routine to feel safe... The neuroendocrine axis (the connection between your nervous system and hormones), primarily the HPA axis, is how your brain and hormones talk to each other. When your nervous system feels unsafe, it signals the hypothalamus to trigger stress hormones like cortisol. These micro-moments of safety help regulate that axis from the outside in. In functional medicine, we take a both-and approach, not either-or. We address the mental-emotional, mind-body connection through somatic practices, and we use adaptogens and nootropics to support your system from the inside out. That combination is where I see the deepest relief. ❤️ These simple shifts work especially well for high-achieving people, busy professionals, and anyone dealing with burnout, hormonal imbalances, anxiety, sleep issues, brain fog, fatigue, and gut issues. 🙏🏽 Comment CALM and I’ll send you the nootropics and adaptogens I like stacking with these practices, plus an article on nervous system regulation. #artofbeingwell #selfhealers #nervoussystem #adaptogens #healyourcells
Help me wish Geoff a Happy 🎂Birthday!! Not only does he deserve an award for putting up with my 💩 daily but he is also the best husband, father and person I have ever met. Being near him, just makes you want to be the best person you can be. He’s one of those people that is inspiring to be around without even trying. So Geoff, the man that never asks for anything but deserves absolutely everything. The man who puts himself last (even when i desperately try to put you first)…thank you for being you and for this crazy life we built from the ground up. We love you (and just so you know I’m not sorry for buying you 💩 even though you said you didn’t want anything…even though one of those things is coming late now because amazon sucks) HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 💕
