Nicki Minaj has spoken out after the conclusion of the 2026 midterms, which saw Democrats overwhelmingly win in congressional and state elections across the country.

The following day, the rapper — who has spent the past year campaigning for Donald Trump and his MAGA party — shared a speechless video on X of herself looking blankly into the camera while wearing pale blue contacts in her eyes and a black blazer. “Couple things,” she wrote, introducing a list of personal reminders led by: “1. Trump is STILL your PRESIDENT.”

Happy 19th bday to my little queen Ever!!! What an incredible journey you’ve created for yourself in this life! It’s so amazing to watch you use all the tools you were exposed to so purposefully and expertly. It’s gratifying to any parent who wants their kids to appreciate the world around them. Then, see you add all that to your experiences everyday, learning, growing and evolving into the capable, resourceful and inspiring person you are today? Nothing could make me more confident of your present and future choices which ease the fear everyone has when their children grow up and go out into the world. Your beauty is of course impossible to ignore 🤯 but your interest in becoming a compelling, independent, passionate, cultured and disciplined human is a gift beyond comparison. You, in truth, have been a gift in every way. As a mother, you have brought me love in ways I couldn’t imagine before you. As a friend, you’ve been loyal and thoughtful even when I know it was difficult for you. As another soul I share this life journey with, you have both been my student and my teacher until now I can just admire you for who you have become, separate and unique, a powerful force of nature. The storm over the horizon has fully formed and now is about to be unleashed. My umbrella is out and my secret smile anticipates the effect you will have on the world around you. Xo mamachka

After Republicans suffered massive midterm election defeats, President Trump's response seems out of character. Maggie Haberman, our White House correspondent, explains how his public demeanor compares with what he has shared behind closed doors about voters’ frustration with some of his policies.

Honestly shout out the public. Instead of criticising the dad they stood by his side to show how kids cant just have their way. Rare win for the public.

A frozen pizza delivery man in the U.S. became the target of a prank in August 2026, which later prompted the public to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for him and his family.
The Red Baron employee, identified by reports as Walter E. Zerod, was stocking frozen pizzas at a grocery store in White Lake, Michigan, when a prankster pretended to steal US$10 from him.
The video recently went viral, with many rallying in support of the worker.
A supporter even set up a GoFundMe fundraiser for Zerod, to stand up for “a working person who is busting their butt” and “should not have to fear losing stability because someone wanted content”
