I don’t think we mentally prepare ourselves enough for the thought that this could be the last time we ever experience carrying a baby. I’ve complained about being tired, needing to slow down, and not always feeling like myself. But looking back in this moment , I’ve also loved those quiet moments . I wonder… what if this is the last time I ever feel this? The last time I experience those tiny kicks from the inside. The last time my body creates a home for someone I haven’t yet met but already love so deeply. It’s such a bittersweet feeling. Wanting so badly to meet your baby, while also wishing you could hold onto this chapter just a little longer. Because one day, I might miss the very things I once complained about.
Some of you know me only in the context of personal life (and especially my life’s more difficult chapters over the past few years), and others solely in the context of my professional life. It’s been such a long time since I took the time to reintroduce myself, and I figured there’s no better time than today, on this special anniversary, to briefly recap 🤍
We’re ready to meet you tomorrow 💕#nursery #girlmom #sisters #induction
