Tomorrow, Nevada votes. Before this campaign ends, I want you to know why I stepped into this fight. I got tired. Tired of politicians answering to the highest bidder. Tired of watching working families struggle while Washington makes excuses. Tired of feeling like the people paying for this government have the smallest voice in it. Our schools need help. Our infrastructure needs work. Our national debt keeps growing. And the same career politicians keep asking for another term to fix problems they’ve spent years watching get worse. Dina Titus says she still has so much to do for Nevada. My question is simple: What have you been waiting for? Public office should be a responsibility, not a lifetime occupation. That’s why I believe in term limits. Nevada deserves fresh voices, accountability, and somebody willing to speak plainly even when the establishment doesn’t like it. I’m not running to make a career out of politics. I’m running because I’m fed up with what career politicians have done with it. If you’re happy with the results, Dina Titus is your choice. But if you’re tired of being ignored, squeezed, and handed the same excuses every election, then stop rewarding the people delivering them. Tomorrow, vote Bobby Khan for Nevada’s First Congressional District. Give me the opportunity to fight for you. MAKE VEGAS VEGAS AGAIN. BobbyKhanForCongress.com
Scooby-Doo, where are you?! Happy Halloween 🎃👻 from Velma and the gang lmao Not sure if I should wear this cuteeee set from @sheincurve @shein_us @sheinofficial or the Dorothy one, more to come on all of this as again I’m in spamathon mode sorry not sorry lmao Fun fact time: my grandma absolutely loved Frank Sinatra, that was her ultimate crush, and so I grew up listening to him, watching his movies, and I love him too. Now my son has also developed a really awesome appreciation for Ol Blue Eyes, it makes me so proud lol and I feel like Grandma is looking down and smiling so big to see that. How does that relate to Scooby you ask? Scooby-Doo’s name came from Frank Sinatra’s “Stranger In the Night.” TV executive Fred Silverman told Emmy TV Legends how he was on a red eye flight to L.A. and couldn’t sleep. CBS had just rejected his idea of a group of teens and a dog trying to solve mysteries, so he was in the middle of coming up with new ideas. “As we’re landing, Frank Sinatra comes on [the PA], and I hear him say, ‘Scooby-doo-be-doo.’ [Note: Sinatra actually says “doobie,” not “Scooby.”] I said, that’s it—we’ll call it Scooby-Doo.” Score massive Black Friday deals up to 60% OFF at SHEIN! After meeting Patty Ortiz just once, I knew I wanted to tell her story. Becoming a NASA engineer isn’t easy. It’s rocket science, after all. 🚀 But Patty faced the added challenge of coming from a low-income household, without a blueprint or a role model to show her the way. She drew strength from her mother, who came here from El Salvador to build a better life without knowing anyone or speaking the language. Her mother’s courage helped Patty keep pursuing her own dream. Now, through Kids Need Space, she’s opening doors for children who dream of working in space exploration, becoming the representation she didn’t have growing up. Patty, thank you for blazing a trail and helping kids see that they, too, can reach for the stars, no matter where they come from. ✨ And a special thank-you to Enrique Roman for collaborating with me to edit and bring this story to life. You’re a superstar! #latinasinstem #spaceexploration #representationmatters #weatherwithbelen
