💛 I remember the long embrace the last time I saw him, standing in that sundappled Ithaca forest. I can feel it in my arms. The greatest man I’ve ever know... scholar, athlete, healer, the flame to my courage and wanderlust. The most brilliant mind and cutting intellect, keen intuition and understanding heart. My soulmate. 🔥 Having you as my father was magic, was green grass and sea glass, adventure, my greatest honor, my heartbreak and my sorrow and my shaping and my longing in the formless moments since last we met... utterly impossible that it’s been 20 years. I smile and breathe so deeply when I think of you always. It’s you and me now my little hummingbird @katien___ , to devour and bask in the feast of life. 🗺
