I've coveted this book for ages and I'm SO happy I finally got it. I thought the hardcover was beautiful when it first came out but when I recently saw the paperback version I knew I had to get it. I come from a Korean background, so I was immediately drawn to the hanbok that the female figure is wearing in the cover. This is a story of generations of a family and its strength in the midst of adversity, as well as a struggle in identity. I can't wait to read this because I know I'll be able to relate to this book and it'll move me to pieces.
