Does anything bother Pablo 🤣

Honoring D’Angelo today with Voodoo, an absolute milestone recorded live to analog tape at Electric Lady Studios alongside Questlove, Roy Hargrove, and the Soulquarians.

The album pioneered that iconic, laid-back "drunk" rhythm played behind the beat, giving it an unhurried organic feel and low-end richness. Rest in power to a true giant whose sound redefined neo-soul forever.

What’s your favorite track off Voodoo?

47 today 🎂
I’ve been sharing my life on Instagram for well over a decade. Back when none of us really knew what this platform would become, let alone that you could build an entire career on it.

And yet, here we are.

I’m 47 years old, building a career in an industry largely shaped by people half my age, where nothing is guaranteed and figuring it out is half the job.

And I genuinely love it.

Some people still don’t understand what I do. Some don’t consider it a real job. Some probably think I just walk around drinking espresso and putting on nice clothes all day.

I’m completely fine with that.

Because behind the camera, this has been one of the most challenging, rewarding, and entrepreneurial chapters of my life. I’ve built a business around being myself, and learned to trust my instincts more than other people’s expectations.

But the greatest return hasn’t been financial. It’s been freedom.

The freedom to be present with my wife. To watch my kids grow up without feeling like I’m constantly missing something. To create, build, take risks, and design a life that feels like my own.

At 47, I’m more comfortable in my own skin than I’ve ever been. Less interested in explaining myself. More interested in seeing what’s possible.

I never imagined this would be my career. Or that I’d be finding an entirely new version of myself at this age.

But that’s the beauty of life. You don’t have to have it all figured out by a certain age. Sometimes the best chapters are the ones you never saw coming.

So here’s to 47. To staying curious, taking chances, embracing the uncomfortable, and being unapologetically yourself.

Even if that means setting up a tripod on a sidewalk while strangers wonder what the hell you’re doing.

Wouldn’t have it any other way.
