As a fellow pediatrician, I could not be more excited about this historic moment! Congratulations to Dr. Annie Andrews on her incredible victory in South Carolina, becoming the first pediatrician elected to the United States Senate! Pediatricians spend their careers advocating for children, protecting families, following the evidence, and making decisions grounded in science. Now, that perspective will have a voice in the U.S. Senate. At a time when science, vaccines, healthcare access, and public health are facing enormous challenges, we desperately need leaders who understand what is at stake. Children deserve a seat at the table. Tonight, they gained a powerful advocate. Congratulations, Senator-elect Andrews! 👏 #Pediatrician #PublicHealth #Healthcare #Doctor

MCKENNA GRACE ENTERS THE ARENA “I’ve watched these movies and read these books a million times,” gushes Cosmopolitan cover star @mckennagraceful. “To be running off my own podium toward the cornucopia, this is not real to me.” Katniss Everdeen raised her. ‘Hunger Games’ posters decorated her bedroom walls. Even while working as a child actor, she spent her time editing Peeta Mellark fan cams. Now, Mckenna is moving from fan edit creator to subject as the snarky but sweet District 12 tribute Maysilee Donner in the ‘Hunger Games’ prequel ‘Sunrise on the Reaping.’ But despite her own name in lights, Mckenna still sees herself as the ultimate ‘Hunger Games’ fangirl. “I was very invested in all of it—the headcanons and the fan base.” For Cosmopolitan’s Winter 2026 cover story, Mckenna talks about going from “kid on set” to “adult on set,” being madly, loudly in love with her boyfriend @masonthames, and that iconic “Team Peeta” fan edit that may or may not still be haunting her. 🚨SHOCKING | De*d Monkey found inside water tank of a hostel at Assam’s Engineering College; [⚠️Trigger-Warning: Graphic, Sensitive Content] 👇: Read more In a shocking incident reported from Assam Engineering College (AEC), a de*d monkey was reportedly found inside a water tank at Hostel No. 7. The discovery came after students complained of an unusual smell coming from the water supply. More than 50 students fell ill after consuming and using the contaminated water for their daily needs. The same water was allegedly used for cooking at the hostel mess. The affected students were admitted to Jalukbari Ayurvedic College Hospital, with several requiring saline drips as part of their treatment. Reportedly, the monkey’s b*dy had remained inside the tank for nearly a week, while students had continued using the water since Durga Puja. The Hostel Superintendent promptly reverted to the students’ complaint and ensured that the tank has been cleaned later. These cases raise serious concerns about the safety and hygiene mainteinance of water storage facilities at the college’s hostels. #National #Assam #College #Students #thetruthindia
