Even after singing together all night in the bus, this was the first time the trekkers got formally introduced to each other. Standing into a circle, everyone announced their names, their professions, where they come from, and what are they passionate about. We were surprised by the sheer diversity of professions people had come from. After a small set of instructions, we started the trek by crossing the first dam and following the foot trail covered in the morning mist.

Thank you to the most passionate and supportive fanbase in the world. I didn’t know it was possible to fall in love with a city, until I became a Brewer. I’ve never been prouder to put a jersey on and I’ve never wanted anything more in my life than to give this fanbase a World Championship.

Dude is a 2025 Tamil romantic action-comedy starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju. Directed by Keerthiswaran, the film blends anarchic, Gen-Z humor with intense social drama. It follows the unconventional lives and messy relationships of cousins who run a surprise event-planning collective.

The story follows Agan and his cousin Kural, who run an event-planning start-up called "Surprise Dude" Their lighthearted relationship takes a dramatic turn when Kural confesses her love for Agan. Initially, Agan rejects her, claiming he only sees her as a friend, prompting her to move to Bangalore. When Agan realizes his true feelings for Kural, he discovers she has already fallen in love with another man, Paari. To complicate matters, Kural's father (a ruthless, casteist politician) intends to stop the relationship at any cost.

To protect her and her partner, Agan steps in, stages a dramatic rescue, and marries Kural himself so they can start a life abroad. However, plans change when Kural gets pregnant with Paari's child and faces visa denials.

Due to Kural's fragile medical condition, this is her only chance to have a baby. The film shifts into a poignant and unconventional drama as Agan selflessly supports his cousin by pretending to be the father, ultimately facing off against corrupt family traditions to protect her happiness.
