Some evenings leave you feeling inspired long after they’re over. So honoured to have been invited to Grand Cru in support of @UHNFoundation - thank you to @one.twenty.eight for introducing me to their work. What made this evening so special wasn’t just the incredible food, wine and setting, but the opportunity to celebrate and connect with the people behind the impact - the generous donors, brilliant scientists and researchers, and the many individuals who are helping advance the future of health care. To sit alongside people who are making such a meaningful difference in the lives of others was truly inspiring. It was a beautiful reminder that behind every breakthrough, every clinical trial and every advancement in patient care, there are people who believe in making a difference. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this unforgettable evening possible and to UHN for including me in such a meaningful celebration. The work being done at University Health Network is extraordinary, and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to experience firsthand the passion and generosity that help make it possible. 🚨 BREAKING: Introducing X-70 Fractal, @nasa’s newest experimental aircraft! This crewed, modular aircraft will allow the agency to rapidly swap out internal & external payloads to help keep pushing the frontiers of aviation technology! X-70 Fractal is a high-performance platform to test advanced flight-control, maneuverability, and other cutting-edge technologies in real flight. “We expect her first flight under the NASA banner within the next two years, and X-70 is just one part of this new beginning for aeronautics. This is why people come to NASA: to build, to learn, and most importantly, to fly.” - @nasaadmin The X-70 Fractal has a takeoff weight of 10,000 pounds and is designed to cruise at Mach .75, reach altitudes of up to 45,000 feet, and provide an operational range exceeding about 1,726 miles (1,500 nautical miles). These capabilities will enable NASA to conduct demanding flight research across a broad range of operating conditions.
