HONESTY

I post about how well I’m doing and how I love my workouts lately but behind the scenes is where it al goes down
Last night it happened... the boyfriend had the munchies and I’ve done REALLY good about staying on track and avoiding my binge eating but last night that was not the case.
The boyfriend was craving chips and salsa, not just any chips, the Juanita chips. Y’all know what I’m talking about. They’re my favorite 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️ Not only did I eat more than the recommended amount I was eating them straight from the bag. 😲🙄 The old me would have beat myself up all day for getting as carried away as I did last night but the new me, not so much.
I’ve come to learn that life isn’t about all or nothing for me. I’m definitely and 80/20 person. 80% of the time I’m fantastic at eating what I should and staying on track. The other 20% you ask? Last night is a prime example. Usually I try to save my 20% for the weekends or after I finish a program but not yesterday.
Yesterday was a Monday for the books but I woke up this morning and told myself just because I got off track one day, doesn’t mean I can jump off the wagon for the other 6. It’s a journey and I’m here for the long haul.
