So in the Spirit of Easter, I will share what I love most about this song. It’s as simple as a line in the song, “GOD has done EVERYTHING for us”. I mean, He has already done Everything for us. The work of Jesus on the cross has settled us for this life and for ETERNITY. He has settled our past, present, future and eternity. Wawu, nobody, absolutely nobody can do that except for Christ Jesus. He has redeemed us, adopted us, given us His name, given us an inheritance, made us to be siblings with Jesus, blessed us, broken the curse of sin, debt, any and every curse in our lives, given us authority, given us Victory, enlightened us, empowered us, graced us, beautified us, given our lives a meaning and a purpose, and also, He has prepared a place for us in Eternity, so that where He is, we will always be.
So really, what is it that God has not DONE for us?
And there is a “jara” to it also, “what is it that He will not do for you?”
Rom 8:32 says that He (God) who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all - how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us ALL things?
