8/8 - Aissa Tripodi - «BESETZT – WARTEN – EINTRETEN» Unschlüssig, unkonventionell, untreu? Vernetzt, vernünftig, verwöhnt? Es werden viele Dinge erzählt über die Menschen meiner Generation. Doch was ist das für ein Gefühl, das sie umtreibt, das mich umtreibt – und wie sieht es aus? Dafür habe ich mich in meinem gleichaltrigen Umfeld umgeschaut. Daraus entstanden sind keine Antworten, sondern Momentaufnahmen eines unschlüssigen Gefühls. Diese Fotografie ist Teil einer grösseren Serie aus dem Langzeitprojekt «BESETZT – WARTEN – EINTRETEN».

Undecided, unconventional, unfaithful? Networked, reasonable, spoiled? Many things are told about the people of my generation. But what kind of feeling is it that drives them, that drives me - and what does it look like? For this I looked around in my peer environment. This did not produce any answers, but snapshots of an indecisive feeling. This photograph is part of a larger series from the long-term project «BESETZT – WARTEN – EINTRETEN.
Aissa Tripodi is a photographer and artist. She completed her studies in photography at the MAZ and has been working independently for more than five years. In addition to the preliminary course at the School of Design, she has also successfully completed an apprenticeship as a graphic designer. Aissa currently works as a freelance photographer for various magazines and companies. She is also intensively involved in her own artistic projects. Aissa Tripodi was born in Basel in 1992 and lives and works there.
AWARD
The work was awarded the vfg Young Talent Award in 2018.
