A man lost his job after wearing a Halloween costume he called the “Jager-Bomber,” according to the claim accompanying a photo shared online. The outfit featured a vest fitted with Jägermeister bottles and Red Bull cans, a headscarf, and what appear to be prop guns. Its name was a play on the Jägerbomb drink. The costume raises questions about the line between Halloween humor and offensive stereotypes—and whether something worn outside work should have consequences at work.
Extremely Grateful- Almost 5 years ago, I found myself on a phone call with Shawn Ryan. We talked about my story, coming on the podcast, and ultimately unblurring my face for the first time. I was incredibly hesitant, apprehensive to say the least. But Shawn asked me to trust him, and after talking with a few mutual friends, I decided to take that leap. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The opportunities, relationships, personal growth, and ability to build businesses and employ my friends that followed that interview have been nothing short of incredible. So much of what I’ve been fortunate enough to experience started with that conversation. Fast forward 5 years, and I find myself back with Shawn, this time in his new studio, surrounded by his team, getting an unbelievable amount of knowledge transferred over two days. Shawn, I can’t thank you enough. Your friendship, mentorship, understanding, lack of judgment, and willingness to always make time have never been lost on me. You’ve been a positive influence in my life since the day we met. We spent those two days talking about life, business, the future, and ultimately where I want to end up. The lessons you passed along are things you simply can’t put a price on. You’ve changed a lot of people’s lives, including mine and my family’s. And watching the success you’ve earned couldn’t make me happier. Nobody deserves it more. To you and your entire team, thank you for everything. If I can ever repay the favor, I’m a phone call away. Wishing you many more years of continued success. I appreciate you, bro. Thanks for setting the standard. #shawnryanshow #srs #grateful #thankful #teams
