According to this verse, there will be enmity between the individual woman (Eve) and the serpent who deceived her. The word enmity indicates a blood feud. There will also be enmity between his seed and her seed. God promised that, eventually, the serpent would bruise the heel of the seed of the woman. However, the seed of the woman would also bruise (or crush) the head of the serpent.
Hallelujah that Jesus came and gave us victory and defeated death, hell, and the grave.
He alone is Worthy!
Let’s celebrate Advent together!
Genesis 3:15: “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

Amen the prophecy of our Lord Jesus Christ. Genesis 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Thank God for this promise that He would send a savior and He did and Jesus defeated death hell and the grave, and won total victory once for all against satan. One great day satan will be forever tossed in the lake of fire for final damnation. On the cross our Lord cried “it is finished” fulfilling this very prophecy. Thank you April. This is beautiful and a reminder of His love and promises.
