A very bittersweet kind of validation. ❤️‍🩹

For so long there’s always been that little voice saying, “but what if they don’t find anything?”

What if it really is just a bad period? What if I’m being dramatic? What if all of this pain has somehow been in my head?

And then to wake up and be told they found endometriosis. To finally have an answer. To know that I knew my body all along.

I don’t think I’ve quite processed what that means yet. There’s relief in finally being validated, but there’s also a lot to come to terms with knowing this is actually my reality.

So for now, I’m just taking it all in. Feeling a little overwhelmed, very emotional, but incredibly grateful to finally have some answers.

We’ll get there. One step at a time. 🤍

And if you’re still fighting for answers yourself, please keep advocating for your body. You know it better than anyone.
