Last night I saw Isabelle Huppert as Mary Stuart in ”Mary Said What She Said”, by Dir Robert Wilson at, ”The Royal Swedish Theatre”, part of the Bergman Festival. She owned that stage, was as stellar and gave a remarkable performance, as always. All of it was great, direction/scenography and lighting by Robert Wilson, scenographer Annick Lavallée-Benny, costume by Jacques Reynaud, mask by Sylvie Cailler, hair by Jocelyne Milazzo, music by Ludovico Einaudi, sound design by Nick Sagar and text by Darryl Pickney.
