The family of 15-year-old Javits Frimpong has shared his personal diary, offering a heartbreaking glimpse into the dreams, ambitions, and hopes he held for his future before his life was tragically cut short. Javits was fatally shot while walking to school in the Bronx on October 29, just one year after relocating from Ghana to the United States to live with his father. According to the New York Daily News, his diary revealed a young boy with big dreams. He aspired to become a doctor and often wrote about his education, faith, and deep love for his family. Beyond his own ambitions, Javits reportedly hoped to help his friends in Ghana pay for their education, saving money toward making that dream a reality. His family remembers him as a kind, intelligent, and compassionate teenager who was determined to succeed in life and make a positive difference in the lives of others. At just 15, Javits had a future full of promise and dreams that reached far beyond himself. - #history #bronx #sad
