WOW!! It all hit me last night… 💕💓 When we were filming @missgovernornetflix in 2025, my dear friend and executive producing partner @keishabottoms shared so many stories from her journey in politics to help inspire our storytelling. She also shared with me that she was thinking about running for Governor of Georgia. Nothing was official yet, but the possibility was in the air! Meanwhile, we were laser-focused on telling stories about women in leadership, the challenges they face, and all the behind-the-scenes madness that comes with it! We had SO many more stories to tell, but unfortunately, we didn’t get a second season. But here’s where it gets GREAT! While our fictional Governor’s journey came to an end, we got to watch our REAL-LIFE executive producer step into her own race for Governor! And now, we’re witnessing her VICTORY! And in TRUE KEISHA FASHION… she did something that absolutely touched my heart… She intentionally chose to wear a victory-night suit designed by the same designer, @hideokibespoke who created Antoinette Dunkerson’s suit in our season finale… in the EXACT SAME FUCHSIA COLOR!! 💗 Y’ALL!!! The fact that our little show was even on her mind during such a monumental moment in her life means more to me than I can express! So, effective immediately, we are NO LONGER calling this color fuchsia! IT’S OFFICIALLY MISS GOVERNOR PINK!!! 💕💗💓 And with all that said… sounds like the PERFECT time to head over to @netflix and watch Miss Governor for some good, joyful laughter! Art imitating life? Or life imitating art? Either way… I LOVE IT!! #MissGovernor #MadamGovernorKeishaLanceBottoms #SheKnowsSheCanSoSheDoes 💞💕💓
US presidents have been beaten badly in previous midterm elections, from the 'thumping' of George W Bush in 2006 to the 'shellacking' of Barack Obama in 2010. But the humbling of Trump and his Republican Party in 2026 was in a category of its own — a savage rejection from across the country of the president, his allies and his second-term agenda. Tap the link in the bio to read more. Image description: Donald Trump emerges between blue curtains holding 'Make America Great Again' hats, with a US flag backdrop behind him. “I think we deserved to be one of the biggest of all time” 👏 In an interview with @the.poppod, @jadethirlwall opened up about her success as a solo artist and she feels like she shares her opportunities and successes with her fellow @littlemix sisters 🥹 “We were always the dark horses” JADE said, explaining that Little Mix didn’t get the same opportunities she’s getting now: “ten years ago, pop was very much still shunned… especially for girl groups” 💔 JADE’s debut solo song ‘Angel Of My Dreams’ has recently gone viral 2 years since its original release. She was also nominated for the Mercury Prize and performed at Glastonbury earlier this year. Speaking on Little Mix’s infamous cancelled US tour, JADE said that even today in the places that Little Mix never got to tour, they still “go crazy” for her Little Mix medley performance: “They’re all craving it” 😍
If it keeps coming back, it’s meant to be seen🤪
