WARNING: this is a messy DIY😀You may brake a few pinecones while cutting them to create the flowers and your fingers will get dirty with sap.

• Make sure you collect a variety of pinecones and have good cutters or pruning shears.

• Cut the larger, more open pinecones horizontally across the midsection. You should be able to get 2-3 flowers out of each pinecone. If they have too many layers of scales, simply peel off few from the bottom.

• Start glueing flowers to the grapevine wreath base. If you want to use a metal wire heart base, you will need to wrap it with burlap or a Spanish moss like I did.

• Glue flowers first and fill in smaller areas with small pinecones, sweet gum tree pods, nuts or other natural elements until the entire base is completely covered 🤎
