Part four of this mini series, documenting myself wearing Irish made clothing every day throughout January.
January has been a particularly busy month so I've found it difficult to remember and motivate myself to document outfits. I was lucky to be able to take some R&R in my hometown of Sligo with two good friends, so for lack of outfit shots I've interspersed some beautiful sea views. My favourite time of year is winter in the west of Ireland, the light is so ethereal - the landscape glows in blues, greys and purples, and the atmosphere evolves over the short day. As it's cold you can wear all your woollens!
Day 14 (+ 2!)- Native Denim
@nativedenimdublin jeans, worn with a favourite vintage black wool cardigan I bought last year
@lucyslounge (you can't see the beautiful detail in this footage).
Day 14 - Vintage 1970s Donald Davies knitted tunic dress, purchased from Sinéad (@sean_ruadi) a few years ago at a vintage market organised by
@morningstarvintage.ie, where I recall also buying another purple suit!
Day 15 - 1980s midi plaid skirt by A-Wear, made by Mary! I'm pretty certain that this label is late 80s/90s as it's the earliest A-Wear label I've come across, so do share labels or information if you have it.
Day 18 - 1960s wool jumper by Sherpa and
#DonaldDavies wool scarf, worn with 1980s Benetton red cords that were originally my mum's.
Day 19 - I wore a comfortable, but very unremarkable weather appropriate outfit, with a modern
@mcnuttofdonegal mustard wool scarf, which was a birthday present from my friend Grace a few years ago.
