When I applied for singing director for Soiree 2024, no one could have told me how much this experience would have impacted my life - from bonding with the musical directors for the first time over our love for theatre all the way to the hectic but super fun production week, every single second spent with all the talented people Soiree brings together has helped me grow and learn so much.

Firstly I'd like to thank the musical's cast who I worked with since October to bring the musical to the standard it was (and at this point are used to my long essays 😛). From the extremely dedicated and talented main cast who portrayed the characters we envisioned amazingly with the skill needed to not only impress the audience but get our message across, all the way to the ensemble, with whom I worked very closely to give the show so much life. I am extremely grateful to have been a part of your Soiree experience this year and am super proud of all of your progress - watching you all grow closer to each other has made me so happy and I hope that I left a good impact on you these past few months :))

And last but certainly not least I'd like to thank all the other Soiree directors who help bring this show to life - especially all musical directors, who ever since May have been there for me, valued my ideas, genuinely taught me so much, and most of all, believed that someone like me could direct something as big and special as Soiree 🥹
