Friday, Feb. 9 at Surrey Art Gallery, an opening reception for the exhibition "un/tangling, un/covering, un/doing: storytelling of traditions, rituals and politics of hair". I have several pieces in the show, which includes some stunning work by other artists. (This reel also shows work by @chi.fii_ and @kiranjotart ). The event runs from 6:30-9:30 pm, and will include a panel discussion (@beckybair and @studioclareyow), poetry reading, and music by DJ Hafiz.
