Happy Halloweekend🎃

😐 Kostymer, posering og "fuck islam"? Er dette liksom en «influenser»? Poserer i svarte englevinger på Halloween, legger på et filter og lirer av seg «fuck Islam» og rasistiske løgner om incest mot hele kulturer.

Men hva har egentlig islam med halloween å gjøre?

På Instagram-storyen sin står altså Oda Haukaas, kjent fra Paradise Hotel, oppstaset foran kameraet og slenger ut tekst som «Happy Halloween – and fuck Islam», etterfulgt av groteske anklager om innavl rettet mot kulturer utenfor Vesten.

Dette har absolutt ingenting med «modig samfunnskritikk», «sterke meninger» eller «unhinged humor» å gjøre . Det er regelrett islamofobi. Det er ufiltrert islamofobi og brungrumsete rasisme, servert som en halloween post i en polert Instagram-estetikk.

Å skjære millioner av mennesker over én kam med vulgære løgner og be dem holde seg unna Vesten, er retorikk hentet rett fra de mørkeste ekkokamrene på nettet. At folk med blått verifiseringsmerke og følgerskarer føler seg så trygge at de slenger ut slikt hat i full offentlighet, viser hvor skremmende normalisert muslimhatet har blitt.

Du tar ikke på deg et kostyme og publiserer målrettet hatprat uten å vite nøyaktig hva du gjør: Du bygger engasjement, klikk og oppmerksomhet på å tråkke på minoriteter.

Til dere som følger, liker eller selskaper som samarbeider kommersielt med denne profilen: Er dette verdier dere stiller dere bak ?

Hatprat blir ikke mindre motbydelig bare fordi du tar på deg englevinger og legger på et filter. Den som bruker plattformen sin som et talerør for rasisme og hets, fortjener verken klikk, følgere eller samarbeidspartnere – de fortjener null rekkevidde og null relevans.

Og for guds skyld, kjære Norge - Å være et forbilde er noe man må gjøre seg fortjent til. Å gå på tv for å feste og ha det gøy gjør deg ikke til et forbilde, selv om det er fullt lov - og kanskje til og med ganske morro å være med på.

Det er handlingene dine som avgjør om du er et forbilde for andre. Vi må slutte å hate på hverandre - det er nok av det i verden.

Last night, Aly decided she was NOT ready to go upstairs for night night! 🤣💗

Mama and Dada spent FOREVER trying to get this little squirt out from under the kitchen table! 😂 Mama was raising her voice, saying, “GET OUT FROM UNDER THE TABLE!” while Aly was having the time of her life playing keep-away! 🤣

Every time we thought we had her, OFF SHE WENT! 💨🐶 Running around the living room, dodging Mama and Dada like a little professional escape artist!

And just when we thought we might catch her… SHE DIVE-BOMBED RIGHT INTO HER BALL PIT! 🤣🤣🤣

“You little squirt! COME HERE!” 😂

I swear this girl thinks bedtime is an Olympic sport, and Mama and Dada are her entertainment! 🏃‍♀️🐾🏃‍♂️

She might be tiny, but she’s FAST, SNEAKY, and VERY good at playing keep-away! 🤣❤️

Does anyone else’s dog turn bedtime into a full-blown game of hide-and-seek? 😂🐶

I used to ask God why He made me Deaf. Man, I wish that kid could see this. 🥹

For the first time EVER, I got to sign “What a Beautiful Name” with a live worship team. I’m so used to practicing with a track and knowing exactly when the next line is coming. This time I got to follow the team, and y’all… it went so well!! They sang the name of Jesus and I got to sign His name right alongside them. That part still gets me. 🤟🏼

Thank you Known Conference for inviting me to worship with y’all. Jesus, thank You for giving me these hands and letting me use them to praise You. All glory to You. 🙌🏼

After my second baby, I started noticing my belly button pushing outward, especially during movements where I was hanging or planks, push ups, etc.

And something I’ve learned over the years is that while we can’t exercise away the actual opening in the abdominal wall, we CAN work on improving how our core functions and manages pressure.

Here are 3 things I focused on that made a difference for ME 👇

1- BREATHING & PRESSURE MANAGEMENT

This was HUGE. Learning how to expand through my rib cage and backside instead of constantly pushing pressure outward toward my belly button helped me better coordinate my deep core during movement.

2- MODIFYING HOW I TRAINED

Instead of continuing to push through movements where I couldn’t manage pressure well, I worked on regressing exercises, improving my control, and gradually building back up. That doesn’t mean avoiding challenging exercises forever!

3- BUILDING STRENGTH THROUGH MY WHOLE SYSTEM

Not just doing more ab exercises! I focused on how my rib cage, pelvis, diaphragm, and deep core worked together, then continued building strength on top of that foundation.

And here’s something I REALLY want women to understand... improvement doesn’t always mean something has been FIXED.

An umbilical hernia is an opening in the abdominal wall, and exercise doesn’t close that opening. For me, improving my breathing mechanics, pressure management, and strength made a noticeable difference in how my abdomen functioned and how much bulging I experienced.

And that’s worth talking about!! 👏
