The incident occurred on Saturday, October 31, 2026, in Tungan-Bako village, Pandogari, Rafi Local Government Area of the state. The victims were reportedly working on their teacher’s farm when armed men invaded the area and whisked them away. Confirming the incident on Monday, November 2, the spokesperson of the Niger State Police Command, Wasiu Abiodun, clarified that 14 students were abd¥cted, correcting earlier reports that claimed 50 pupils were missing. Abiodun disclosed that security operatives had commenced a joint rescue operation to secure the victims. He said the police received a report that suspected b&ndits invaded the village around 12:30 p.m. and abducted people working on a farm. According to him, preliminary information indicated that the victims were about 14 students of an Islamiya school who had accompanied their Mallam to harvest maize. Sorry for the mistake. I meant Osmania Hospital, not Osmania University. My humble request to the government is to give first priority to Education, Healthcare and Agriculture. These three are the backbone of our society. Government hospitals need proper equipment and medicines, schools need better facilities, and our farmers deserve more support. Instead of spending hundreds of crores on statues and monuments, I sincerely request the government to consider investing that money in hospitals and education in the name of our great freedom fighters. I believe that would be a true tribute to their sacrifices and would help thousands of poor families. This is not a demand or criticism, just a humble request. Let’s prioritise people’s lives and the future of our country. #revanthreddy #ktr #bjp #congress #kcr
