A seemingly unwell Don Jr. delivers his closing arguments for the midterms

STRANGER THINGS-

Our family got completely addicted to Stranger Things, largely thanks to my youngest daughter. We ended up watching the entire series, back to back, twice. So naturally, when Halloween rolled around this year, she decided we all needed to dress up as the crew.

My wife went all out getting everyone’s costumes together, and we were ready to roll. Then, lo and behold, my 13-year-old decided she was officially too cool for school.

As you can see in the photos, my wife went straight baller as Max, my youngest was Holly the Brave, and I was a Demogorgon. Then as per usual, my oldest decided to go with some weird combination of Pitbull and Men in Black. Apparently, dressing up with your family isn’t cool anymore, your parents are embarrassing, and me and Patsy missed the memo.

Whatever. We had a blast.

If you keep scrolling, you’ll catch some Ring camera footage from the house. First, me encouraging some kid to take way more candy than his mother probably thought appropriate but better him than me.

Then there’s the guy who looks about 30 years old, running up to my porch with a backpack, dumping the remaining half bowl of candy into his bag, and disappearing like a thief in the night.

Whoever you are, you little bastard, I’ll find you next year.

All jokes aside, another incredible Halloween with the family. This was probably our last year with my oldest actually trick-or-treating. Not that she has a choice about coming with us next year. She’ll just be forced to dress up and walk around with the rest of us.

These are the moments I know we’re going to miss one day. Watching the girls grow up, seeing their personalities change, and realizing just how quickly these years are flying by.

Another Halloween in the books. And more memories I’m thankful we got to make together.

Enjoy these moments while you still can. They don’t last forever.
