Keepers of the Fire

Released on July 28, 2022 - Keepers of The Fire Volume 1 wove together the music of 9 brothers for the first time. From Ambient world music, to ceremonial medicine music, to electronic bass journeys, you can find it on Keepers of The Fire Vol 1.

Keepers of the Fire is a men’s collective consisting of the musical artists Poranguí, Amani Friend (Liquid Bloom, Desert Dwellers), Shaman’s Dream, Evan Fraser and David Satori (Dirtwire, Beats Antique), Biko Casini (Rising Appalachia), Vir McCoy (Dogon Lights, Hamsa Lila), Joss Jaffe & Bloomurian.

After years as a brotherhood diving deep into the question of how to better show up as men, leaders & artists, this Keepers of the Fire compilation was born into the world. It is an offering of sonic prayers, carrying within them the intention to make a positive impact in the world and contribute to an essential current of transformation and healing in humanity.

From ancient drums to future bass, to folktronica and world music, in both acoustic and electronic forms, this is a collection of songs that share profoundly and honestly, creating a rich sonic tapestry of our collective prayer through vibrant soundscapes. This album is a meditation on trust, friendship, nourishment, accountability, growth, regeneration, and healing.
